The AUSHA T1 Trail Camera is a compact, motion-activated outdoor camera designed to help you monitor wildlife, farms, gardens, property entrances and remote outdoor locations. Once installed, the camera automatically detects movement and captures photos or records videos without requiring someone to operate it manually.
Whether you want to observe animals in their natural habitat, monitor movement around agricultural land, check activity near a garden or gate, or document environmental activity at a remote location, the AUSHA T1 provides a practical and easy-to-use monitoring solution.
Its woodland camouflage finish helps it blend naturally into outdoor surroundings, while the rugged IP66-rated housing protects the internal components from rain, dust and changing weather conditions. The supplied mounting strap makes it easy to secure the camera to a tree, pole or other suitable outdoor support.
The AUSHA T1 captures still photographs in resolutions up to 12 megapixels, helping you document wildlife, visitors and outdoor movement with useful visual detail.
The camera can be configured to take between one and three photographs whenever motion is detected. This photo-burst function can provide multiple views of a moving subject, making it easier to observe movement patterns and select the clearest image from each event.
Photo resolution and burst settings can be adjusted through the built-in control panel according to your monitoring requirements.

In addition to photographs, the AUSHA T1 can record outdoor activity in up to 1080P Full HD video. Video recording helps provide a more complete view of movement, behaviour and direction than a single photograph.
You can use video mode to record wildlife crossing a trail, animals entering a farm boundary, visitors approaching a remote gate or activity occurring around an outdoor property.
The camera also supports sound recording, allowing compatible video recordings to include surrounding audio. Recording duration and other available settings can be configured directly on the camera.
Captures still photographs whenever the PIR sensor detects movement.
Records a video clip after motion activates the camera.
Captures a photograph followed by a video clip during the same triggered event, providing both a quick image and a more complete record of the activity.
Outdoor subjects can move through the monitored area quickly. The AUSHA T1 uses a fast motion-activated trigger time of approximately 0.5–0.8 seconds to begin capturing activity after movement is detected.
This fast response helps reduce the chance of missing animals, visitors or other moving subjects as they enter the camera’s monitoring area.
The trigger interval can also be adjusted to control how frequently the camera responds to repeated movement. This can help manage storage use and reduce unnecessary duplicate recordings when a subject remains in the same area.
The built-in PIR motion sensor detects changes in heat and movement within the monitored area. When a person or animal enters the detection zone, the camera automatically activates according to the selected recording mode.
The PIR sensor provides motion detection at distances of up to approximately 15 metres under suitable conditions. Actual detection performance may vary according to the size and speed of the subject, installation height, direction of movement, surrounding temperature and environmental conditions.
For the most effective detection, position the camera so that subjects move across the monitored area rather than directly towards the lens.
The AUSHA T1 is designed to continue monitoring as outdoor lighting conditions change. During daylight, the camera captures colour photographs and video. When the surrounding light becomes low, it automatically switches to infrared nighttime operation.
This automatic transition means that you do not need to manually change between daytime and nighttime modes.
Colour capture during daylight
Monochrome infrared capture at night
Automatic switching based on surrounding light
Motion-activated operation during the day and night
Continuous monitoring without manual mode changes
The camera is equipped with 38 infrared LEDs to support nighttime monitoring. These LEDs provide infrared illumination for monochrome photographs and videos after dark.
Infrared capture is useful for observing nighttime animal movement, checking activity around fields and monitoring remote outdoor locations where regular lighting may not be available.
Night recordings appear in monochrome rather than full colour. The quality and visible range of nighttime footage can vary according to the surrounding environment, battery condition, weather, subject position and the presence of reflective surfaces.
A built-in 2.0-inch TFT colour display allows you to configure the camera and review captured files directly on the device.
You can use the screen while installing the camera to check the viewing direction and make sure the desired area is visible. The display also makes it possible to review recorded photographs and videos without immediately transferring the memory card to another device.
Adjust photo and video settings
Select the recording mode
Check the camera’s viewing direction
Review captured photographs
Play recorded videos
Set the date and time
Configure motion-related settings

Manage additional camera preferences
The camera uses physical control buttons rather than a touchscreen, making operation straightforward in outdoor environments.
The AUSHA T1 uses a practical three-position operating switch:
Use this position when installing batteries, inserting or removing the memory card, storing the camera or when the device is not required.
Use TEST mode to access the settings menu, check the camera angle, preview the monitored area and review captured files.
After completing the setup, move the switch to ON. The camera will enter automatic monitoring mode and begin capturing according to the selected settings whenever movement is detected.
Install the batteries → Insert the memory card → Select TEST → Configure the settings → Check the camera position → Switch to ON
The time-lapse function allows the camera to capture activity at selected intervals instead of relying only on PIR motion activation.
This can be useful for documenting gradual changes in outdoor environments, monitoring agricultural areas, recording changing weather conditions or observing a location where motion may occur outside the PIR sensor’s normal detection pattern.
Time-lapse settings should be selected carefully because frequent recording can increase memory-card usage and battery consumption.
The camera can record useful information with captured files, including the date and time of each recording.
Date and time information can help you understand when animals visit a location, identify periods of repeated movement, review activity around a farm boundary or compare events captured over several days.
Before beginning regular monitoring, set the correct date and time through the camera’s menu to ensure that recorded information remains accurate.
The AUSHA T1 includes password-protection functionality to help prevent unauthorised access to the camera’s settings.
A password can be useful when the camera is installed around shared property, research locations, farms or other areas where multiple people may have physical access to the device.
Always store the password safely. Forgotten passwords may make it difficult to access the settings without resetting the camera.
A configurable camera identification number helps distinguish files captured by different cameras or at different locations.
For example, if multiple AUSHA T1 cameras are installed around a farm, forest, property or research area, each camera can be assigned a different identification number. This can make it easier to organise photographs and videos after transferring them to a computer.
Photographs and videos are stored locally on a compatible TF/microSD memory card with a supported capacity of up to 64GB.
Local storage allows the camera to operate without Wi-Fi, mobile data, cloud storage or an application. After recording, remove the card and transfer the files to a compatible computer or card reader for viewing, backup or sharing.
For reliable operation, use a good-quality memory card from a trusted manufacturer. A new card should be formatted through the camera before regular use.

The AUSHA T1 can operate using either 4 or 8 AA batteries, providing flexibility for different monitoring requirements.
Using four batteries can be suitable for shorter monitoring periods or situations where the camera can be checked regularly. Installing eight good-quality batteries can support longer periods between battery changes.
For more consistent performance, use batteries of the same type, brand, capacity and condition. Do not mix old and new batteries or combine different battery chemistries.
Use either 4 or 8 compatible AA batteries
Insert batteries according to the marked polarity
Use one matching set of batteries
Do not mix old and new batteries
Remove batteries before extended storage
Check the battery level before remote installation
Replace batteries when performance becomes inconsistent
AA batteries are not included
When fitted with eight good-quality AA batteries, the camera can provide up to six months of standby battery life under suitable operating conditions.
Actual battery performance will vary according to the number of triggered events, photo and video settings, video duration, temperature, battery quality, display usage and nighttime infrared activity.
Frequent video recording and regular nighttime activation consume more power than occasional daytime photography. For longer unattended monitoring, choose efficient settings and check the camera periodically.
The AUSHA T1 features an IP66-rated outdoor housing designed to help protect the camera against dust, rain and changing outdoor conditions.
The camouflage housing, secure metal clasps and hinged construction help keep the camera closed during regular outdoor monitoring. The protective design makes it suitable for use in forests, farms, gardens and remote outdoor locations.
The camera should always be closed and properly latched before being left outdoors.
Close both sections of the housing completely
Secure the metal clasps firmly
Check that no dirt is trapped around the sealing area
Keep the battery compartment closed during outdoor use
Install the camera in a stable position
Avoid locations exposed to flooding
Do not submerge the camera in water
Dry and clean the housing before opening it
IP66 protection does not mean that the camera is designed for underwater use or permanent immersion.
The woodland camouflage finish helps the camera blend into trees, vegetation and natural outdoor surroundings.
This makes the T1 suitable for wildlife observation and remote monitoring where a bright or highly visible camera may distract animals or draw unnecessary attention.
The compact housing can be positioned against tree bark or other natural surfaces while keeping the lens, infrared LED panel and PIR sensor unobstructed.
The supplied tree-mounting strap allows the camera to be secured to a suitable tree, post or outdoor support.
The strap can be adjusted to hold the camera at the required height and viewing direction. Once positioned, confirm that the camera is stable and does not move in strong wind.
Select a firm tree or post.
Pass the supplied strap through the mounting points.
Wrap the strap securely around the support.
Adjust the camera to face the required area.
Tighten the strap without damaging the camera housing.
Use TEST mode to check the field of view.

Switch the camera to ON.
Close and latch the housing securely.
Leave the monitored area and allow the camera to enter active mode.
Install the AUSHA T1 near animal trails, woodland clearings, feeding areas or other natural locations to observe wildlife movement with minimal disturbance.
Motion-activated operation helps document when animals appear and how they move through the area. Photo burst and video modes can provide additional information about animal direction, behaviour and visiting times.
For better wildlife results, avoid placing the camera too close to frequently moving branches, tall grass or water surfaces that may create unnecessary triggers.
The camera can be positioned around agricultural fields, farm boundaries, storage areas, livestock routes and other remote outdoor locations.
It can help document animal movement, observe activity near a field or check locations that are difficult to monitor continuously.
Because recordings are stored locally, the camera can operate in locations where Wi-Fi or mobile-network coverage is unavailable.
The AUSHA T1 can be used to observe outdoor gates, gardens, pathways, remote entrances and other areas around suitable private property.
When movement occurs, the PIR sensor activates the selected photo or video mode. This provides a convenient visual record of outdoor activity without requiring continuous manual recording.
The T1 is intended as a practical motion-activated monitoring camera. It should not be treated as a replacement for a professionally installed security system where continuous live monitoring, emergency response or remote alerts are required.
Researchers, students, conservation teams and nature observers can use the T1 to document animal movement and environmental activity while reducing direct disturbance to the habitat.
Functions such as motion activation, time-lapse recording, date and time stamping, camera identification and local memory-card storage can help organise files collected from different sites.
When installing the camera in public forests, protected areas or research locations, always obtain the required permission and follow applicable local rules.
The AUSHA T1 does not require Wi-Fi, a smartphone application or cloud storage for normal recording. Once configured, it records photographs and videos directly to the installed memory card.
This makes it suitable for locations where internet connectivity is weak, unavailable or unnecessary.
The camera does not provide live viewing, mobile notifications, GPS tracking or remote application control.
For the best results, install the camera carefully and test the viewing area before leaving it unattended.
